Unicode

Unicode is a 33 minute animation by Jörg Piringer, displaying all visible unicode characters, one per frame. Unicode is a computing industry standard for the consistent encoding, representation and handling of text expressed in most of the world’s writing systems. I am sure you won’t watch the whole thing, but I thought it was fascinating to see all those letters and sings flashing by. Somehow a tribute to the written language.
